Valle Pradinhos Red Reserva 2014

Região: Macedo de Cavaleiros, Trás-os-Montes

Solo: Mainly schist origin, with medium levels of clay and quartz

Clima: Mild with continental carachteristics

Vinificação: Total desteaming of the clusters. Fermentation with temperature control and daily pump overs. Post fermentation maceration. Aged in wood barrels for 15 months. Wine without filtration or cold stabilized. May contain sediments.

Castas: Combination of Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinta Amarela from different vineyard locations.

Cor: Intense cherry red colors, with light violet reflexes.

Aroma: Intense and elegant with great complexity. Ripe red and black berries standout. Well balanced with floral notes that make it very sophysticated. Vanilla and pepper notes spice up the bouquet

Paladar: Smooth with a voluptuous body. The tannins are well balanced with a silky like character. Fruit flavors make it a structured wine and with a persistent end. Terroir wine.

Consumo: Should be served at a temperature between 16 ºC to 18 ºC. Goes well with red meat dishes and strong cheeses.
